ABOUT THE SITE I started this site a few years ago now to share some of my work customizing action figures. I was suprised, impressed and inpired by others' work in the hobby - enough so to continue it myself despite the crazy time demands of a working adults' life.I find particular zen-like happiness in creating custom and it has been a great way for me to relax. The focus of my efforts has been with Marvel Comics characters. The majority of the books I read and characters I prefer to follow are from the Marvel U. There is a smattering of DC here - Justice League Unlimited based. I enjoyed the cartoon, I like the DC characters, too. It is a bit of a shame that Mattel and Target have made it so difficult to find them on store shelves. As of March 2010, I have also decided to create some of my own characters. Back in the day, I had some high hopes of being a penciller. I had my own giant library of characters I had created (derivative in many cases, sure... but my own nonetheless!). So now, despite having putting drawing way, way, waaaayyy on the back burner in my life, I still have several characters that I remember and have decided to commit to plastic. I doubt that I will focus as much on them as on existing Marvel and DC characters, but they will start showing up here and there. Keeping the laughing to a minimum! Most recently, I've gone a bit crazy: In an attempt to develop some PHP skills, I rebuilt the site using PHP and a MySQL database to streamline the site overall.
